DAY WISE ITINEARY
Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar – Local Sightseeing
- Arrive at Srinagar Sheikh Ul Alam International Airport. Transfer to hotel.
- Enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake at sunset.
- Visit Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh (“Garden of Pleasure”), Shalimar Bagh (“Garden of Love”), and Chashmashahi.
- Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 2: Srinagar – Gulmarg Day Excursion (60 km / 2 hrs)
- Drive to Gulmarg, the “Meadow of Flowers.”
- Optional activities: Gondola ride and pony rides.
- Explore the world’s highest golf course.
- Return to Srinagar for overnight stay.
Day 3: Srinagar – Pahalgam (102 km / 3 hrs)
- Drive to Pahalgam, the “Valley of Shepherds.”
- En route visit Saffron Fields and Awantipura Ruins.
- Optional excursions: Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, Baisaran, Tulian Lake.
- Overnight stay at Pahalgam.
Day 4: Srinagar – Leh via Sonamarg & Kargil
- Cross Zoji La Pass (11,500 ft) and Drass Valley.
- Visit War Memorial, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and Hall of Fame.
- Arrive in Leh; overnight stay.
Day 5: Leh Local Sightseeing
- Visit Sangam (Zanskar & Indus rivers), Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and Hall of Fame.
- Explore Leh town and markets. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La (140 km / 5-6 hrs)
- Drive via Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft – highest motorable road in the world).
- Explore Hunder Sand Dunes and enjoy a camel ride on double-humped Bactrian camels.
- Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 7: Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake (140 km)
- Drive via Shyok Valley to Pangong Lake.
- Check-in at camps; enjoy the serene lake and surrounding mountains.
- Overnight stay at Pangong camps.
Day 8: Pangong Lake – Leh (140 km)
- Morning at leisure; enjoy sunrise at Pangong Lake.
- Drive back to Leh; evening free for shopping or sightseeing.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 9: Departure from Leh
- After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for onward journey.
