DAY WISE ITINEARY
Day 01: ARRIVAL AT GUWAHATI AIRPORT
- On arrival at Guwahati Airport, Complete Your Immigration Our Representative will welcome you at Airport
- Transfer to Shillong ‘Scotland of the East.’
- On the way visit “Umiam Lake” which is also known as “Barapani Lake”, the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya
- Where you can go boating (by yourself if time permits)
- As reach proceed to visit The Don Bosco Museum (Sunday Closed), The Mesmerizing Lady Hydra Park (Monday Closed) (if time permits).
- After sightseeing check in at your hotel and overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 02: SHILLONG – MAWLYNNONG & DAWKI – SHILLONG
- After Enjoy the breakfast & drive to Mawlynnong –”Asia’s Cleanest Village”.
- Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the Single Living Root Bridge and another strange Natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock.
- Later proceed to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. Enjoy a breath-taking view of the Umngot River.
- Enroute visit to Ramboda waterfalls, tea plantation and tea factory, Hanuman temple. Also experienced boat riding at Dawki River.
- After visiting Return to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 3 : Ludhiana – Anandpur Sahib – Chandigarh
- Enjoy Breakfast & checkout at your hotel,
- Visit Cherrapunji – the wettest place on the earth.
- En route visit Elephant Falls & Mawkdok Valley – a very prominent sightseeing spot.
- Visit Nohsngithiang Falls, Seven Sisters Falls is the next attraction on the way. The falls is an epitome of unity of the seven states of north east India, thus the name.
- Up next are Garden of Cave, Mawsmai Cave and Eco Park from Eco Park, you also catch a glimpse of Sylhet plains Neighbouring Bangladesh.
- As reach check in and overnight stay at the hotel in Cherrapunji.
Day 4 : Chandigarh – City Tour
- Early morning after Breakfast & checkout at your hotel
- Proceeds to visit the Mawphlang Sacred Grove — an ancient forest preserved by the local Khasi people, with guided tours that reveal its deep cultural and ecological significance.
- The Sacred Grove is a lush green canopy where every plant and tree has a purpose, and nothing is allowed to be taken out, ensuring a pristine natural balance.
- After visiting, return back to Shillong. As reach check in to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
Day 5 : Departure
- Enjoy your last morning before checking out of your hotel
- And being transferred to the Guwahati airport, where you will depart for your destination with bags full of souvenirs and happy memories.
