DAY WISE ITINEARY
Day 01 – Arrival at Joshimath / Govindghat
Arrival at Joshimath (nearest major town by road)
• Travel to Govindghat (Approx. 1 hr by vehicle)
• Overnight stay at guesthouse / campsite in Govindghat
Day 02 – Trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria
- Start trek from Govindghat (1,828 m) to Ghangaria (3,050 m) – Approx. 13 km / 5–6 hrs
• Enjoy scenic views of the pushpawati river, forests, and waterfalls en route
• Check-in at guesthouse / campsite in Ghangaria
• Overnight stay at Ghangaria
Day 03 – Valley of Flowers Trek
- After breakfast, trek from Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers – Approx. 3–4 km / 4–5 hrs
• Explore the Valley of Flowers National Park, photographing alpine meadows and diverse flora
• Optional hike to Hemkund Sahib (additional trek if physically fit)
• Return to Ghangaria for overnight stay
Day 04 – Hemkund Sahib Trek
Early morning trek from Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib (4,632 m) – Approx. 6–7 km one-way
• Visit sacred lake and Gurudwara
• Trek back to Ghangaria by afternoon
• Overnight stay at Ghangaria
Day 05 – Trek Back to Govindghat
Trek back from Ghangaria to Govindghat – Approx. 13 km / 5–6 hrs
• Travel to Joshimath for overnight stay or continue towards your onward destination
Day 06 – Departure
Departure from Joshimath / Govindghat by road
• Drop at nearest railway station / airport
• Return home with unforgettable memories of the Valley of Flowers
