Cherrapunjee, also known as Sohra, is a high-altitude town in the northeast Indian state of Meghalaya. It's known for its living root bridges, made from rubber trees. To the northeast, Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point overlooks verdant gorges.Sohra, as the locals call Cherrapunji, has become a popular tourist destination because of its mesmerizing waterfalls, living root bridges, and caves.

On the way visit "Umiam Lake" which is also known as "Barapani Lake" the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya, where you can do boating (by own)

CHERRAPUNJI – MAWLYNNONG & DAWKI

After an early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong - The village is quite pretty, especially in the monsoons when there is lush greenery all around, with waterfalls and abundance of flowering orchids add to the beauty of the village
Later proceed to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border
Enjoy a breath-taking view of the Umngot River, also experienced boat riding at Dawki River
Evening drive back to Shillong
